Please read these General Terms and Conditions of Business (hereinafter referred to as the GTC) carefully, as they contain information about the obligations of the parties and provide a legal basis for the operation of Gastroplustour.

These GTC govern any and all purchases made through Gastroplustour.com and are deemed accepted by the person who books the Product or Service on the site on behalf of all persons named in the order, unless expressly stated otherwise;

You are not eligible to claim compensation for this type of advertising. The order, form and volume of advertising may be changed without special notice to you.

Duration of Products and Services, amendments, terms of payment and cancellation

  1. All Products and Services offered by Gastroplustour are valid for the dates indicated on gastroplustour.com.
  2. Gastroplustour is not responsible for information not provided by Gastroplustour directly.
  3. Prices on gastroplustour.com are prices per person, unless otherwise stated explicitly.
  4. Prices are based on the rates currently in effect at the time of the offer at the prevailing exchange rate as determined by Gastroplustour

Price quotes are subject to change without notice prior to order confirmation.

  1. On the eve of each booked trip, a reminder about the upcoming excursion is sent to the client's phone number/email address. It is very important that you provide correct information when placing an order.
  2. For reasons beyond the control of Gastroplustour, the service/excursion may be cancelled. Notifications occur on the site and to the e-mail you specified.
  3. If the tour is canceled by the customer more than 48 hours in advance, Gastroplustour will refund the amount paid in full. To do this, write to [email protected] from the address you specified when booking.
  4. All requests for changes and amendments must be sent to Gastroplustour's email address for review and processing.
  5. If the cancellation occurs later than 48 hours, or you do not show up for the tour, the money will not be returned and the payment cannot be credited against payment for another Product or Service.
  6. Event, show or theater tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  7. Prices do not include tips for drivers or guides, travel and luggage insurance, personal items, or any drinks or food not listed in the Product or Service description on the Gastroplustour website.
  8. The following payment systems are accepted for payment:

  1. There is no additional processing fee for credit card payments.
  2. During excursions outside of Hungary, you need to have your passport and health insurance with you. If you came to the tour without a passport and medical insurance, then unfortunately you will not be allowed to take part in the tour and its cost is not refundable.
  3. The gathering for walking and author's excursions takes place strictly at the appointed time and place indicated in the voucher. The maximum waiting time is 5 minutes. If you are late for the tour by more than 5 minutes, no claims will be accepted.

Payment Processing

  1. According to the GTC, payment processing for Products and Services purchased from gastroplustour.com is provided by K&H Bank Zrt Hungary or PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l.et Cie, S.C.A. depending on the type of payment chosen to pay for the Product or Service.
  2. In the case of payment by credit card, the payment will be processed through the selected acquirer and these GTCs constitute an agreement between you and Gastroplustour.

Gastroplustour vouchers

  1. You will receive your personal Gastroplustour voucher for each Product or Service booked. To view the voucher and print it, you will be given access to a special page.
  2. To participate in a tour, to receive a ticket or a package of services, you will be required to present the original Gastroplustour voucher to the relevant supplier of the Product or Service. Without presenting a valid Gastroplustour voucher, your order is not valid.
  3. For security reasons, you must present a valid ID when presenting your voucher. This measure is necessary to identify the tourist and prevent fraud.
  4. Please note that Gastroplustour vouchers may be confiscated and immediately canceled without refund if your signature or name does not match the credit card details.

Disclaimer

  1. Under no circumstances shall Gastroplustour and its suppliers of Products and Services and distributors be liable for any of the following losses or damages, whether foreseeable or not: (1) data loss; (2) loss of profit; (3) loss of business; (4) loss of opportunity; (5) loss or damage to reputation; (6) losses incurred by third parties; or (7) any consequential damages arising from the use of the site gastroplustour.com, regardless of the circumstances and actions.
  2. Gastroplustour and its suppliers of Products and Services that organize excursions, transfers or any other service in accordance with the itineraries, are not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, accidents, delays or deviations from the schedule, the occurrence of unforeseen expenses for the tourist. Also, Gastroplustour and the suppliers of the Products and Services are not responsible for any illness, theft, labor disputes, equipment breakdown, force majeure, war and terrorism, weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, accidents, injury and death and other circumstances not under their control.
  3. Gastroplustour regularly checks the accuracy of information about all Products and Services offered on the site. Despite this, Gastroplustour does not guarantee that the functionality, content or information on the site will be uninterrupted or that gastroplustour.com and its servers will be free of viruses or bugs.
  4. Gastroplustour provides on its website the opportunity to advertise its services to Private Guides and Suppliers. In this case, the service providers are independent contractors.
  5. You are solely responsible for cooperating with guides and other providers regarding scheduling times, meeting points, excursion specifications, and payment terms and conditions (where agreed). When booking this type of service, you agree that Gastroplustour is not responsible for any accidents, losses, injuries, damages, delays, expenses associated with any action of the Private Contractor.

Restrictions on the use of the website
